As I'm an old bastard, saw most of those rock bands in the late 70's early 80's, Scorpions 4 ir 5 times, kept a lot of the old ticket stubs, tour t shirts in loft, found these 2, both from 1980.

Keep coming back to this one. Beautiful stripped down performance from Gregory Porter. A true soul man

RIP Robbie Shakespeare.

Massive influence on me playing bass, and created some of the funkiest basslines in that early 80's reggae, funk, electro scene.

Sly & Robbie no more <rose>

Did not realise that Sly & Robbie wrote the rhythm section for this classic.

Hearing the bass line though, it all makes sense

RIP Robbie <rose>

absolutely zero fukin love or recognition for Robbie Shakespeare from you and instead you just stamp all over the thread with three of your own tunes without even a nod to one of the greatest reggae pioneers of all time.

I reckon you could do a remix with that and the Starsky and Hutch theme tune. <whistle>
