He is a good, possibly a great player.Although within the annals of LFC that is a tall order.I think he goes to ground easily and that possibly on occasions the free kick is the motive. The ref yesterday let quite a lot go on both sides, most likely with the intention of letting the game flow, and it did. Suarez didn't finish well yesterday or he would have got a hat trick. In other games he will, that's football. The difference between nothing and goal of the season is the thickness of a piece of tree wood
I agree at times he goes down a bit easy. He's still getting used to the league, that's not an excuse, but he admits the physicality between the EPL and the Dutch league is huge. Also one of the main parts of his game is spinning or turning defenders in a split second. If you do that at the speed he does and get clipped it will always look like a dive because of the speed of the turn. It's tricky one, although I do understand why certain teams/fans dislike him.
I haven't followed the thread since a couple of hours before the game and really can't be arsed going back through it now. I just want to say that I'm bitterly disappointed with the result but I enjoyed all the build-up banter with you guys so no hard feelings. We should have had four by half time but we didn't, and you stuck with it and got the point. Good luck for the rest of the season and looking forward to speaking again in april. And I'll try not to get lost in Norwich next time I'm there. p.s. I'm sure I've seen thaicanary on a menu somewhere......
The dogs are the main reason men visit Thailand BTW - where are you living in Thailand? I've been over a fair few times.....
I am in the north - Udon Thani, the very poor part of the country! Wouldn't change my life now if I was begged to do so
Out of interest Thai, what do you do there? I would love to have a major life change and go back abroad. I have spent time in Australia, Thailand, Japan and Zimbabwe and would definately be well up for moving back to either Australia or Thailand. Aus is a bit difficult as I do not meet the points critirea and so would need to retrain. The cost of that is what makes it difficult. Could Thailand be an option? I haven't done any investigation on that. How did you end up there?
I relax, go fishing and sometimes talk nonsense on football forums It is very hard if you want to work here. 2 main problems are getting a work permit, the other - the wages are very, very low. The average in this region is about 6000 baht a month - that is about £110.00!!!! A MONTH
Suarez is so good for Liverpool its scary...he does moan a lot but thats just the mentality he has..wanting to be the best and frustration with himself for missing chances. All top players are the same. I think the going down easy will be sorted by the end of this season...people forget hes not even been here a year yet. Adam is worse IMO, was diving trying to con the ref when his pace was shown up. Would much rather have Meireles if I was a Liverpool fan. Anyway, perhaps an undeserved point for us but unexpected and left me buzzing albeit with no nails! Good luck for the season Liverpool, top fans in this thread!
