Has anyone ever confirmed or denied that Mark Chapman heard this song before shooting John Lennon? Because it would explain a lot...

17 years to the day since Dimebag was shot dead on stage in Ohio aged 38. RIP.

Robbie Shakespeare has sadly departed us. :(

Of all the body of work from Sly and Robbie, my immediate
thoughts went to one legend being broadcast by another ...

The Rebellion Festival has a new outdoor stage that holds 12,000. That's 9,000 more than the next biggest venue.

There's obviously significantly more money to be had @ £50 per night, leading to The Stranglers, Levellers, Gary Numan, Squeeze and a number of others appearing on the bill. Let's hope it doesn't chuck it down, or there's going to be some crush to see Petrol Bastard, Vomit and Yur Mum. I'm glad that we've already booked our hotel, as there's not going to be much room at the inn.

That's a shame, I heard that he was ill earlier this week. He was a good man. RIP.

This was the last time I saw them... and they were good fun, as ever...

Yes they did. Paul Thompson drummed for them as well, which is ****ing nuts. It's quite funny the muso's who wanted in on a bit of 'rough as arseholes' punk rock.

I assume that's the same Max Splodge as in Splodgenessabounds?

Best known for 2 pints of lager and a packet crisps (the 'b' side of Simon Templar which I liked rather more)
