Massive game tomorrow. We’ve not been great against the “better” teams but I think we might just have turned a corner the last few weeks. Win tomorrow and we will kick on Think it will be a patchy performance again But out good spells are getting longer 3-1 Broadhead 2 to continue to improve and Another for Pritchard
I am in the BCB tomorrow for this, hopefully the bi polar Sunderland don’t turn up tomorrow, play like we did on Tuesday and I think a 3-1 win could be on the cards. However this is Sunderland a kick in the Betty Swallocks is never far away. Haway, Haway, Haway
RTB A home win please, probably similar team as Tuesday. Defence definitely needs tightening up, so LJ needs to tweak somewhat. For instance if Plymouth have a good right winger should Gooch be left back.
Great thread RTB . This team is starting to look settled again, Plymouth will be its first real test, and a win will keep everyone looking forward rather than over their shoulders. OaU.
Thanks for all your work and the information RTB, fantastic as always. Hoping for a home win in a big game. It’s all about the 3 points . Keep the tempo from the last game and a half and fingers crossed things will be good. Narrow home win for me.
Good to see the confidence returning starting to play well side settled and really unable to change much. Think it might have worked in Johnson’s favour.
cheers again RTB... really hoping we are injury free from tuesday as that side is starting to click and we have had enough 'shuffles' for this season so far. as @Smug in Boots said, LJ has earned some peace and quiet here and in my opinion he has worked with the lads and the improvements we wanted to see are there, maybe a bit more defensive work needed but if we play on the front foot and grab a couple of goals then we might not have to worry about that too much.
If we could keep injury free and have Cirkin & Huggins in I think the pace and options we would have would see us destroy most teams
really liked the look of huggins, just 'settled' into place if you know what i mean and cirkin looked a bit iffy his first couple of games but really grew into his role and the team...never thought a young lad would be missed as much.
Looks like a decision has been made about Alves, probably heading back to West Ham if I'm reading that properly @JamesCopley_ Lee Johnson confirms they may be a decision made on Frederik Alves in January as he hasn't played as much as anyone involved wanted - including parent club West Ham.
Sensible, especially with Xhemajli coming back to fitness. Alves hasn't shown enough when he HAS played
Dont think he has enough game time to be fair. Last time in the cup was played at RB and subbed at HT when he was know where near the worst player on the pitch. Having said that I agree he may as well go back.
