My sister is visiting from Canada week after next. She's transiting through Dublin so has to do PCR before flying, passenger locater forms x 2 (one for DUB one for NCL), PCR test on day 2, PCR before flying home (plus ArriveCAN app) then PCR/LTF at airport when landing back in Canada. It's ****ing madness
What curve? The curve of declining hospitalisations and deaths? No thanks, let's keep it curving downwards
so many ways of looking at the situation but one thing is for sure, what we get told is well after governments know the same. the single most part of this that is strange to many, is why this virus was declared so dangerous even though there have been several 'variants' over recent years that we had warnings about that could potentially kill then allow it to spread as they did THEN having to lock down so in the end the damage was probably made much worse by all the delays...i mean, it was november when they first had cases and realised what it was, a couple of months later before the news spread around the world then panic from people desperate to get out of china and get home...i firmly believe china knew far more than it let on and a damn sight sooner than they eventually owned up about and there lies the root of the problem(s).
If the government think it’s a new deadly virus that can spread among us and kill you, as these are the brainy people running the country ( joke ) why are they happy to go to meetings not wearing masks and going to parties without masks and no social distancing. The virus sounds really dangerous doesn’t it?
Who the **** are you to come on with the attitude? So come on clownshoe, answer your own questions with clear facts please
I'll still wear a mask in shops etc. Other than that the whole caboodle has been a total shìt show from the off. Go out, don't go out, stay in don't stay in, work from home, go to work. Fùck off Boris you fat cùnt, and all the other silver spoon baffoons. Fining people for going out for a walk on their own to try and keep some sanity at the height FFS , And these shìthouse bastards laughing behind peoples backs doing what they fùcking please. Protect the NHS ? Look at all the money these Tory cùnts have threw away to projects their fooking pals are involved with before and during the pandemic. Money that could of built up the NHS not let it crumble. I suppose this is a good time for these bastards to ruin the NHS once and for all.
Their is no doubt there is a virus. The problem comes along when people jump on anyone that questions anything and resorts to calling them lunatic flat earth tin hatters ffs. Ok, some are But aren't questions allowed to be asked now ? It seems most are not in this police state dictatorship we find ourselves drifting into as things like 9/11 and viruses come along. Let's remember that this rushed vaccine has no come backs to the billion dollar pharma companies that produce it. There's a lot of people trying to cover their own arses whilst making a good buck. As for "experts", I'm glad I didn't eat margarine or artificial sweeteners like we were advised
Hear Hear. Regardless of what anyone thinks, people have died from Covid. The government tell us to use common sense FFS irony. Some of their rules are pathetic and they can't even follow them. But wearing a mask is courtesy to others. Although I see few wearing them now.
Booked the panto last week for Nottingham Theatre Royal. Now we'll have to wear masks throughout including the 'drinks' interval ffs "Oh no we won't."
Of course people are allowed to ask questions. The problem comes when people refuse to believe the medical and scientific communities and leap to ridiculous conclusions. Most of the questions that these self-appointed 'free thinkers' come up with can be easily answered by the scientific community. If a simple Google search doesn't answer your questions, you can try Google Scholar. Even if you don't find conclusive answers, you will find explanations for why things are done they way they are. Of course, as you allude to, the scientific community doesn't always get things right first time, that's why research is always ongoing. You have to keep up with current research and, in the case of Covid, the pace is high. Asking questions doesn't make you a loony. Believing the wrong sources does.
