I wonder if TSS still looks in? Here are 3 little jewels that I've discovered from that quintessentially English brilliant songwriter, Andy Partridge of XTC...
This is as eccentric and quirky as you would expect from a collaboration between him and Robyn Hitchcock..
A Christmas song from Harold and Madge. I once saw Harold actor Ian Smith in panto in the early nineties in Southampton playing Baron Hard up.
Just seen this... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-59553438 This song was huge in my teens and a favourite of my dear old Dad.... R.I.P. John...
So last week Spotify wrapped came out. Here are my top artists and songs. I'm slightly surprised by my top song, but it's kinda understandable. When I play team fortress 2 each Saturday night (it's a traditional of mine going back years, I listen to a bunch of songs, mostly from the 90s then they appear on my daily drive quite often, then because of that they appear more often, like a feedback loop. That partly explains my top artist two, but there's three cranberries songs I tend to listen to: dreams, linger and just my imagination... A handful of darkness I only discovered this year but it's epic, hence all the listens. Tatu is a mixture of songs, mainly Martian Eyes which I've posted here before but also gomanesai and all the things she said which is on my nostalgia playlist. Smith and Thell are great, a recent discovery of mine but I've posted about them here before... They're coming to the UK but sadly only London, but depending on the time of day it's not a feasible journey from here, and things like that tend to be in the evening (the time hadn't been revealed when I last looked) So guys, why not post your Spotify wrapped if you use Spotify!
