I don't think any Everton fan went into that game believing or even caring if they won.

Being linked to more wingers/AMF'ers which would be ****ing typical Arsenal.

We need a new CF and a TOP class CM but yeah spend all the money on positions we have great young players occupying. Thus Not strengthening the team and ruining the potential of the quality we do have.:(

They were literally in the gutter before we turned up. We should have battered them. Instead we gave them hope and something to fight for and they punished us.

I’m starting to think this was the plan all along. Give him the full length of his contract no matter what. Then you don’t have to pay him off, you don’t look bad for “not giving him time” and you don’t have to deal with an ugly split.

what a waste of ****ing time.

Alternatively, they are just giving him the time to see through his project and whether it will be a success or not.

tbh I’d rather we gave a manager enough time even if it doesn’t eventually work out, rather than end up like Utd or Spurs who just hire and fire and end up back at square one every time

If Arteta’s project fails, then at least the club can say they backed him and will be justified in replacing him. But as frustrating as it can be for fans at times, personally I think we need to see it through.
