That's what I thought...classic Headingley overcast conditions. Anyway just about to start watching my recording.
Classic Headingley apart from the 95% + humidity which helps the ball move in the air a bit, and it really only takes a bit of movement to catch an edge.
M'mm 11 for 3 after 5.3 overs. Don't think we're gonna win this one. Good job this all happened last night...now time for the fight back.
From what I can recall Gent accepted our offer, however they eventually sold him to Lille for less than we offered, because the player wanted a guarantee of 1st team football. Of course I may be recalling it incorrectly, but I seem to remember that was the gist of it at the time.
Exactly that Aski and then many of us chuckled because he had a nightmare for weeks and then he had the last laugh when it clicked
Ok so the above was done up to and including today's game. Obviously with games being postponed some of the positions and points totals are incorrect, but we are actually one point better off than predicted, despite having two games postponed. So what did I get wrong, based on teams having all played 22 games Southampton - 4 places and 3 points higher than predicted, after 21 games Everton - 3 places and 6 points lower than predicted, however still have 3 games to play and now Benitez has gone Villa - 4 places and 6 points lower than predicted, after 20 games Leicester - 6 points and 2 places lower than predicted, however 4 games to play Scum - 8 points and 2 places lower than predicted, 2 games to play West Ham - 7 points less than predicted after 22 games, due to a magnificent away win by the mighty whites Chelsea - 4 points less than predicted after 22 games Liverpool - 6 points less than predicted, but only played 21 games Man City - the only one I can say I got 100% correct, so far, but hey it's City, not exactly difficult to predict their results
