have to say i really wanted dajaku to hit the ground running, no real reason to be honest and i honestly think he was a bit 'cat on a hot tin roof' his first couple of starts, looking better as a late sub but i agree he is looking better each game, a few have said he is too weak for this league but i noticed he got stuck into a couple of challenges some would dodge...therefore i have come to the conclusion that he is simply a young lad in a new country and a new team who is still settling in and we are yet to see the best of him.

Never saw that level of skill in Lee mind, but I'll take your word for it.

Big test coming up on Saturday for this "new look" team and strike force, ten minutes into the second half last nights game it could have gone either way even with a two goal lead . that's how tight this league is, it's certainly at an interesting stage as far as we are concerned.

Interesting comments from LJ about the pitch after the game 'if I had a million pounds in Jan I'd spend it on the pitch'....I thought we had just relayed a top of the range pitch the same as Spurs. It did look bobbly but wonder why after all the investment already.

Well my claim to fame is that he was my mams cousin or married my mams cousin. Anyway I was distantly related to him! Mind you, you could probably say that with half of Horden back in the day

In the warm up I couldn't believe Hoffman was in he proper goal warming up, thought that was why they put the other goal up.
prior to KO the groundsman had to flatten down the divots which didn't look good to be honest.

Where the away team usually do their shuttle run type stuff in their warm up is in front of us in the south east corner and all of the groundsmen were over just before KO putting it in some sort of order. About 5 of them trying to sort it out. It seems to cut up really easily for some reason. Not sure we can do anything about it at this time of year though.

From Morecambe to their idiots who came to Sunderland.

"The journey to Sky Bet League One has brought with it many challenges, however there are matters of an unsavoury nature that are essentially self-inflicted that must be highlighted.

Due to uplift in crowds, which is an essential part of our League One survival in terms of finance, there has also been an increase in anti-social behaviour including pitch incursions, missile throwing and more latterly flares and smoke bombs.

Another issue of concern is younger fans entering the ground with 'responsible adults' who are clearly not or worse, younger fans attending without a responsible adult at all. Whilst safeguarding measures are in place to spot this they come at a cost.

The Club takes these criminal activities seriously and has issued multiple bans from attending football matches at the Mazuma Stadium ranging from three-years to lifetime exclusion orders."

We all laugh at the way the Mags have been coming to our games for the last few years ...

... but, when you look at it in the cold light of day, it's really quite weird.

I don't know any other club who are so obsessed with their rivals to this degree.

Everton fans don't traipse around the country after Liverpool, Sheff Utd don't follow Wednesday all over.

If it was Hartlepool it would still be weird but this is the richest club in the entire world and they can't shake off Sunderland.

    It's absolutely insane tbh.

I used to go to Newcastle games. But only because I was a senior staff member of one of their old sponsors. Always in shirt and tie too. Get paid, cheer on the opposition… All good in my eyes. I wouldn’t go to an away end at all to cheer on the opponent

edit unless it was SAFC of course!!
