I think the mackems might go up but then I said that last year. Its a bit pathetic not to if truth be told because its a terrible league. Its there for the taking because the teams this year are a bag of spanners. None of them look like stretching clear, and you have some real ****hawks you should be panning.

They are supposedly laden with cash according to their support, and we've proven twice, below the PL you can buy your way out of the leagues if you are smart with your money. I think the problem is Sunderland have shown way way too much respect to the lower leagues and have allowed themselves to be dragged down to that level. Whereas as a club, whether you like Ashley or not, everyone associated to the club has maintained a bit of a "we are better than this" attitude when relegated. So we haven't wallowed or allowed ourselves to get too 'toys out the pram' or 'poor little me' about it. We've thought we need out of this league pronto, no ifs buts or maybes.

 

Think I'll go about enjoy reading the thread about us on their board.

Ellis Short - got bored and ****ed off, then Del boy didn't have a pot to piss in but they were convinced he was loaded and he bought the club using the clubs own parachute payments - ****ing genius by the way. Now they have a kid who they are convinced is the real deal, Billy big bank balance but being a kid is too **** scared to sack a manager in-case he gets his arse smacked for being naughty.

This condemnation of the Saudi ownership is the best thing that has ever happened. Its just revealed who is and isn't able to honest with themselves. All the **** they ignore all around them (including their own owners background), but a **** ton of moral compass about something which happens to benefit Newcastle. Their indignation is about as real as the ****ing tooth fairy. They really need to stop embarrassing themselves and accept the inevitable.

 

Actually it's lead to a very satisfying twist in direction from the likes of smug in boots.
