Apparently some entitled hypocrites ignored the "rules " and had a party .

Do you think Lineker had a party over Christmas?

I don't actually care , nobody should be going along with the madness

A “predatory and controlling” rapist has been jailed for life after she attacked vulnerable women in female prisons.

White appeared at Leeds crown court via videolink from HMP Leeds – a male prison – dressed in a patterned blouse and wearing a blonde wig and using a walking stick.

Prosecutor Chris Dunn described White as an “alleged transgender female” who has used her “transgender persona to put herself in contact with vulnerable persons” whom she could then abuse.

“The prosecution say that because there is smattering of evidence in this case that the defendants approach to transition has been less than committed,” he added.

Why the **** do the media pander to this 'he she' bullshit, when it's clearly not accurate or true?

Post-Brexit trade deals ‘rushed’, says National Audit Office

The Port of Felixstowe in Suffolk. Deals representing 64 per cent of British trade have already been signed or agreed

The government must ensure its post-Brexit trade agreements deliver benefits for businesses and consumers, rather than prioritising negotiating new deals, the public spending watchdog has warned.

The National Audit Office said that in pursuing multiple free trade agreements, the government could fail to allocate enough resources for consulting businesses, the public and parliament on trade deals and supporting companies to make use of them.

Business associations have told the watchdog that, even though they have signed confidentiality agreements, the information that the Department for International Trade considers it can share with them does not always enable detailed discussions. Consumer champions are not represented on advisory groups at the same level as businesses and some said they felt excluded.

Angus Brendan MacNeil, chairman of the international trade committee, said: “Ministers should focus on getting deals right, rather than constantly rushing to move on to the next negotiation.”

The government has set a target for 80 per cent of total UK trade to be covered by free trade agreements by the end of 2022. Deals representing 64 per cent of British trade have already been signed or agreed. The projected macroeconomic benefits from the secured and proposed free trade deals with Japan, Australia, New Zealand and the US range from 0 per cent to 0.16 per cent of GDP, or up to £3.4 billion, and will take more than a decade to be fully realised, the NAO sai

The watchdog’s report, published today, comes as Anne-Marie Trevelyan, the international trade secretary, visits Washington in an attempt to make progress on a trade deal with the US, which is Britain’s largest single trading partner. Research by CityUK, a financial services trade body, found America has overtaken the EU as the leading destination for UK financial services exports, accounting for 34.2 per cent of sector exports in 2020 compared with the 30 per cent which went to the EU.

The trade department told the NAO it is looking at how it can further improve the effectiveness of engagement with stakeholders.
