I thought Casey was excellent in that. The film itself was thoroughly depressing though.

So you watched it but thought it was her son who was raped and murdered even though the film is about the 3 massive billboards she rents and puts up signs about the rape and murder of her daughter and the police incompetence there in?

Me too but Manchester by the sea has no redeeming features in it at all. Even the comedy in it is blacker than pitch. Good performances by all the cast though.

 

I think Sucky would like Nomadland.
