Then vote for the Party in your seat that has the most chance of beating the Party that benefits from the current voting system would be my advice. Obviously do what you want with your vote as you see fit but it suits the Tories to have a low turnout due to apathy.

And prey tell which party would that be out of the current crop??? As I said the lot of them are ****s no IFS or buts they all piss in the same pot, of course people are so ingrained in a certain party that nothing will stop them voting for it no matter what.
That's why it needs a complete overhaul and some newer party's to appear and sweep the old guard out, i think apathy is only going to increase with every passing election if nothing changes

The perfect Party doesn’t exist. If you want a change of system then the only viable option to get to that is to vote in a Labour government or, more likely, a Labour-led coalition. The only chance of that is by voting for the Party with the most chance of ousting the Tory in your seat. They want you to buy the “they’re all the same” nonsense.

It’s that or the lot who have been bending you over for eleven years. If you’d prefer more of that then good luck to you.

The Lib Dem’s have already shown how they’ll jump into bed with anyone for 10 minutes of fame, I hate the thought of another coalition and nothing being done, each party conceding grounds on their manifesto pledge which they were voted in for. Only thing worse than a Starmer lead government would be one that involves the Lib Dem’s thinking they’re the all powering party because they have a dozen seats

Maybe it's time for one of the new parties, Britain first, or the reform party, neither Labour or the Tories have the British peoples best interests at heart. they can't be any worse than those bunch of crooks.

Only coalition I’d have been happy with would have been Tory with a Farage lead UKIP style party.

If the tories keep ****ing up, as it stands we’ll end up with Rayner as Deputy PM and Lammy as Foreign Secretary ffs in which case this country will be well and truly ****ed (if it isn’t already)

Quite like Rayner. I don’t get why she doesn’t have a wider appeal but open to suggestions.

I will be making the most of my family time especially at Christmas. I have two in my family who have got recent cancer diagnosis and it's heart breaking. Nothing matters but covid and the amount of people in this ticking cancer situation is a massive timebomb waiting to go up. Do they not matter anymore? I have no idea how things will pan out for my family but it isn't looking good at times but it's something we have to deal with. I am hearing of more and more people having cancer and I know personally that has been affected by not being seen early enough. So many have already died but they won't be having those statistics showing will they?

Well done Heidi, you are absolutely spot on, the cure will eventually be worse than the cause, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and friends and I sincerely hope everything turns out ok for those who are ill, Christmas is a time for loved ones, how many elderly people were alone last year while this bastard Government were ignoring their own draconian rules disgusts me.
    Good luck and happy Christmas.

A friend of mine found out he had stomach cancer too late. Because of the current situation he just didn't go and get checked until too late.
GPs getting £15 per vaccination is not helping either. It's much more profitable and easy to do that than operate as a GP.
I heard an report about a surgery that was giving up to 200 doses a day, work that out.
I hope your family members get the treatment they need Heidi, good luck.

If you question anything about Covid you're labelled a conspiracy theorist or you're told you don't care about the millions dying.
I have a problem with the message.
From what I read at least 40% of those included in the hospital admissions were not admitted for symptoms of Covid but tested positive while there. What is the point of including anyone not admitted specifically for Covid in the figures unless you want to boost the numbers?
I haven't seen figures for how many that were admitted for Covid were released either because their symptoms weren't serious (hypochondriacs - don't tell me there haven't been hundreds of these) or they needed limited treatment.
Why aren't the mortality figures broken down into susceptible groups? How many were obese? How many were very ill anyway? How many were very old and frail?

You know why, because the message would change dramatically and the powers that be would lose the grip they have on us.

The grip is fading anyway. I'd say there is a much higher proportion of shoppers not wearing a mask this time versus last time from what I see.

It's actually not nonsense. They are all now career politicians. Many decades ago the Tories were the public schoolboys turned politicians and much of the Labour Party were ordinary working class folk but not any more. They are all the same now.
Boris has lost the support of the ordinary working class because he's turned away from those who got him elected but Corbyn and his cronies would have been a nightmare.
That was the choice. Maybe next time Labour can offer a credible alternative otherwise there will be new parties chomping at the bit. It's already happening across Europe.

Corbyn is ancient history. I get it if people saw Johnson as the least worst option of the two even if much of the press coverage on Corbyn was absolute tripe.

If people prefer this Tory Party to this Labour Party or go for the “they’re all the same” cop out then that’s their choice, but it totally mystifies me how ordinary people can prefer this government to the only viable alternative. They’ve been increasingly mugging us off for eleven years and people keep coming back asking for more.
