------------------Dubs----------------- Manq----Schar------Fernandez----Lewis ------------------Joelinton--------------------- ----------Shelvey-----------Willock---------- Murphy---------------------------------ASM -------------------Wilson----------------------- Big Joe, the new Viera, adds steel to the centre, a bit height, sticks his foot in, presses well and passes better than Almiron. Willock for the legs, Shelvey in the hope his passes come off. Balanced and allows the subs to come on player for player if needed.
He was awesome against Norwich in his defensive duties. His only competition is Hayden. No brainer for me.
A Marauding DM who can protect the wing backs and defence - Just noticed we have a Jamal Lewis emoji so putting it here
I don't think he's suited to it personally. To be honest I like what he brings in the role he plays. Once we become a proper team and have options, I think it will be good to have someone who offers something completely different to your typical deep forward. Tactically I think he's very very smart. So is Willock.
I thought he had a very poor start. But when it was revealed he was playing through an injury to help the team, I decided he deserves cut some slack personally. That little international break seems to have done him the world of good. He has taken some **** but I think he has been putting in tidy displays. Of course we'd all like to see him get back on the goal trail. However tactically he has been good. His performance against Norwich was vastly underrated by many in my book. I think we exchanged in the aftermath of that game just how much things changed when he went off.
Not after him personally, never thought he was that great even during that scoring run. I felt the goals glossed over a number of meh performances. He's not the finished article and he's been nursing a toe injury most the season, just think he looks jaded, ****ed off and could do with a few weeks off rather than getting injections every few days. Come back fresher and ready to scrap for every point. However a distinct lack of planning, investment and squad building from our portly previous owner has left us with utter ****e everywhere we look. I reckon out of our entire squad - Dubs, ASM, Almiron, Wilson and Willock would have a chance at a starting 11 in another lower premier league team. Joelinton still needs more games to convince 100% that he is prem quality, as good as he's looked recently. Longstaff may get bought by someone who likes to spunk money on ****e (See Rafa at Everton) but not make the starting 11 for long, and the same could be said with Hayden and possibly a **** club like Watford. Honestly think the rest wouldn't get close to a starting place.
That's not correct.. What I said was that the players had said Bruce's training was hard and I provided evidence.
No you said they liked it. ASM, the last fecker, certainly loved it. Don't worry, you don't need to go back and edit. I can't be arsed to search. Ever.
Go searching. I've never been against Joelinton. True I never sucked him off. As for Shelvey he's still a **** regardless. Let's go back to Lewis then Only @Seabass and I saw his potential. There's even a thread.
