Agreed. Did we have a shot on target in the game? Really missing Burns but with the number of players brought in, shouldn’t be reliant on 1 player. Whoever the new manager is, they have a lot of work to do

Both FBs were poor, I'm yet to see Fraser have an influence on a game and Edwards was well, just Edwards. Our recent run of crap performances coincides with not playing Chaplin and Burns being unavailable. Not sure what Chaplin did to get dropped a few games ago, baffling.

We have the players for a 3-5-2/3-5-1-1. Nsiala (who should only pass to his other CBs) or Burgess in the middle, Edmundson left and Donacien right. KVY (Burns when he's back) and Penney as wing backs, midfield 3 of Fraser, Morsy and Evans and then Bonne or Piggott up front with Chaplin behind. Celina, Edwards and Aluko subs.

 

Not playing Chaplin is confusing too.

 

Are we even worse than last season? We don’t look like we even have a goal in us.

 

Walton was the only Town player to come out of that with any credit.Same old problem,we seem to be able to take half decent players and blend them into a side which is less than the sum of the parts,how do we do it?

 

Too many long balls forward today resulting in far too much loss of possession. We need to learn how to play through the thirds because we can't just give the ball away like that all the time.

Worst performance I have seen in years, whilst Cook didn't live up to expectations, that team was clearly still behind the manager hence the abject performance tonight.

I'm not sure in who's mind thought we'd be more likely for promotion if we sacked a promotion specialist.

All I can say is Cook wasn't Ashtons man and we live with the consequences of that and a CEO who loves the lime light

 

Damn. Another totally underwhelming game with misfiring players.

thd Bristol city fans did warn us he’d be like this. But at some point, if he wants the limelight he’s got to get his managerial and player recruitments right: he took a lot of credit for bringing these guys in.
