Hang on…. break that fine again GG?? He’s out of contract at end of the season so they wouldn’t be getting anything if they waited… anyway, it’s Drogba-clones I’m hunting for, I can’t be distracted by defenders
I meant to say more chance of signing trippier. I reckon Burnley will want to keep Tarkowski to keep them up. If they sell for 20m and get relegated they will have been better keeping him to try and survive.
If agents want a payday and their player to move then the clubs are pretty much powerless to stop it. If Tarkowski and say Mee decided they don't want to be there and want a fresh start in January and down tools Fraser style they will be ****ed - they're probably ****ed anyway.
I know too little to comment on him … but if I was going by that video (and one I watched yesterday) there’s a lot of penalties, not a lot of cut-‘em-in-half smashes and some nice ‘setting up of chances’. he must be good enough, after all, City are keen…. but I crave a naturally muscular athlete (stop it!!) that can thrive and threaten even when the team around him is a bit ****; as ours is likely to be. V is one for the already-established good teams; our Drogba clone will only be needed for the next 2 seasons while we evolve into a sophisticated football outfit. I can’t bear Jurgen Klopp
I reckon we can get Vlahovic, I reckon he's the most attainable out of everyone linked to be honest. His agent has already said no to Arsenal due to larger financial offers and stated his player wants a move to England as he will be financially better off. Ideal scenario - big name player who will only get better with an absolute mercenary agent looking for a big fat payday.
Yes, and there would easily be a legal challenge to not allowing a player to change employer (if his contract was about to expire) - I expect that those under contract could be refused the move, but who really wants disaffected players on the books. Gerrard’s ****ing voice as well, there’s something else to hate
