Reckon we've all got a few stories to tell on here about moments, incidents, decisions etc that we thought was a good idea at the time, but turned out to be a absolute brain fart. For starters ... My best 'It seemed like a good idea at the time' moment was getting arrested for trying to hand out Ecstasy pills to the Riot Police at Stonehenge back in the day. Obviously off my tits, I thought it would be a good idea to get the Old bill on side by getting them high as a buzzard and loved up. They didn't see it that way lol Okay over to you lot
I'm generally perfect and have few regrets... Back in the day of paper resumes, my printer was dead so I nipped into work to print my resume off and accidentally had it sent to a printer in a room that was locked that I couldn't get to. I thought I was ****ed... Printing resume at work is a stupid idea... Ended up getting a $20k pay raise though which, at the time almost doubled my salary. (I was fresh out of Uni and they took advantage of that to pay me squat).... So one of my stupidest moments worked in my benefit.
Looking at a kid talking to me while using a staple gun. Do you know what hurts more than stapling your finger to a table ? Unfucking stapling it ! And **** me was it hard not to swear in front of a room full of kids
Slow burner this one. Only a matter of time before somebody fesses up about the time they hid a body in the immersion tank though.
I don't know if tripping over a spanish cop counts as it didn't seem like a good idea at the time, it was just a reflex action. Worked out ok in the end though, which is a surprise since it seems I'd started a fight with every cop on duty.
