So after the glorious win vs Burnley and before the arrival of an entire new XI signed on the 2nd January of the top players in the world.... We have a tough run of games but are still desperate for points and I'm going to include Everton and Southampton Away as that's on the 2nd Jan (and probably our best chance of points for the optimists) so won't have any new faces in by then. Leicester Away - 1 (1-1) Liverpool Away - 0 (3-0) Man City Home - 0 (0-3) Man Utd Home - 0 (1-2) Everton Away - 1 (2-2) Soton Away - 3 (2-3) How many points do you think we'll take, or how many do you expect us to take will we take on this HORRENDOUSly important, DISGUSTINGly difficult RUN in to the new year. Praying for 5 points personally and anything over that would maybe sway me from my opinion we are doomed. 5 points would leave us needing 20-25 points in 17 games to be in and around staying up, which would still be a stretch IMO (depending on Mbappe and Haarland) but do-able.
Gone with 7 to 9 but I don't see it happening. It they can get a win vs Leicester and Southampton then nick a point vs Everton or even man united maybe
All are our fa cup finals. Bar Liverpool and Man City they are all winnable games. But realistically I think we can get 6-9 points. Im going balls deep and saying 7.
Leicester Away - 3 (1-3) Liverpool Away - 3 (3-4) Man City Home - 3 (1-0) Man Utd Home - 3 (5-0) Everton Away - 3 (1-2) Soton Away - 3 (1-7) *ASM with 5 goals, causing a selection dilemma with Vlahovic for next game v Watford* After beating Watford at home in the following game the more deluded of our following will believe we can get a champs league place
Gone with 3-6 as I think we still need a lot of improvement before we start tearing up the league. Hope we get 15 though!
