Apologies if I misread. I thought yo were saying Acun hasn't as much money behind him as AP or Duffen. If that's the case why was Pearson reliant on Wilkinson and Duffen reliant on Bartlett? Apologies if I misunderstood.
Acun is quite obviously a wealthy man, I was just saying that I understand he's buying the club for himself and there's no even more wealthy backer. AP didn't have his own money, so was bankrolled by Wilkinson, but we were a bottom tier club at the time and it was thousands, not millions. Duffen just had a job at City, he was never the owner.
Cheers OLM, that's how I read it, AP buying City in 2001 and RB/PD in 2007 is hard to compare to a 30M buy now, I think the positive public relations that ensue will hopefully be similar though.
