Seriously? I'd be surprised as he's one of the most sought after players in South America. They reckon River Plate will take 20m too cause of money issues. He's been linked with all sorts of clubs. I think I saw something about West Ham the other week. I'd not heard us linked but he'd be a cracking signing. How ready he would be to make an instant impact is unknown though. He is quite little so I think he'd need time. I've only seen highlights of him but he does look good. I suppose we will be looking to Argentina and Brazil now as the top clubs do. Get them early like Man C did with Jesus, like Real, Ajax and Barca do all the time.
Lingard almost nailed on I reckon. West Ham now need defenders because of injury so that plays into our hands. Tarkowski almost admitted he was signing for us in his post match assessment. So I think that’s nailed on also. Vlahovic looks like he’s destined for the very top and I would be surprised if we could get him but would be my choice over….. Dembele. He’s class but is injury prone and would be coming purely for the money. A punt on Coutinho? Maybe. Van Der Beek is too lightweight for me. K Trippier is a short term yes for me too.
