Plenty of excitement there but the racing was ****. That is not a grand prix circuit. A bit like the season. It's exciting but it's turning into a joke.
Generally ugly race. From the constant yellows, awful race control, and dirty driving. Hamilton has to be the favourite in Abu Dhabi with the pace he's had in the last three races, but it's a brave man who bets against a Suzuka 1990 scenario the way things are going.
What a mad race. - Not sure about “brake gate”. There were smarter ways to let him through for sure but I think there may have been a delay between max being told to let him through to the FIA telling Merc who would tell Lewis that was what would happen. - However, Max defending positions by going off track absolutely must be dealt with and it was- the FIA actually got it right IMO with the penalty. Let’s be real - without the Red Flags Merc had got it well under control. Abu Dhabi will be very close- it’s been reconfigured to 11-13 seconds a lap faster I think and made more high speed so it may be more Merc for horsepower but actually may help RBR on the corners? Who knows. I just think it will be neck and neck and as someone said- shades of 1990!
