I used to love F1 when I was younger, still follow it but don't watch... I'm telling you though, the racing in this formula is way more realistic and exciting though:
Max was flying on that last lap and 100% heading for pole before binning it. Shame. With Max get a grid penalty for ignoring yellows in the last race, how come Lewis only got a reprimand for doing the same thing? Fully expect RB to protest that decision.
Apparently the thing was a "mistake" and flashed up for a half second He also nearly killed marzipan and so got a fine. In the end when luck is flowing Hamilton takes advantage. He could have planned it himself and didnt and verstappen planked it on the easier corner
Should be a tense, fun race with a bit of incident ... we hope. I do quite like this new track, it's fast and has a lot of jeopardy with tricky sections and the walls as we clearly saw yesterday. Hopefully it all goes pretty much even down to the final race for a title showdown
I think it'll be boring with very little opportunity to overtake. But yeah, if anyone makes a mistake in that 200mph+ slalom section then it's not just going to be a waved yellow is it... F2 race was shambolic btw
Both Mercedes put under safety car whilst Max stays out and then there is a red flag and Max it's allowed to change tyres. Controversial but about time Max got done luck! Flips this race on its head too. Bonus that Lewis is fuming Edit; definitely didn't a red flag tbf
As much as I'd rather Max win and this favours him, you shouldn't be allowed make the mandatory put stop under a red flag. Questionable whether you should be allowed under a safety car, actual or virtual.
Although I'm sure Red Bull will argue Lewis was wary too far behind before linking up on the grid. Suppose to be within ten car lengths and it was more like 20+
RB took it but put pressure on about Bottas under the safety car and Lewis before linking up on grid (both clearly broke rules)
