Pathetic arseholes- what about the public that have paid for the day out at the track ? do they not count. I am not happy about the rules myself but to strike during a card is totally unacceptable

They should all just down tools until someone sees sense - its a ****ing joke. Every race that gets to the business end you can tell the jockeys are thinking "how many more times can I hit him".

I reckon Ruby will ride more and more in Ireland now and just come over to ride Nicholls big guns.

RV - a strike has no effect if it doesn't inconvenience someone - that's the politics behind it - cause maximum disruption.
    Well done the toon btw

t's these stupid rules though, how can the BHA possibly think that there is only 1 use of the whip difference between 5f and 3m+ ?

WHat kind of idiots are they that they think that is a reasonable difference between the two codes.

Thought Camelot looked exceptional worthy Derby fav now...very very impressive. What about Fingal Bay absolutely hacked up 14s for the Neptune Novice hurdle... i think thats worth a punt...although could he tackle the Supreme Novice Hurdle?

For Camelot see St Nicks Abbey or Frankel - not buying into any hype at all!
Ruby - you can hit the horse eight times - you hit him nine! Live with it - its the new rules AP and all were applauding a month ago! Is it workable no...but to threaten to down tools in the middle of a meeting is ****!

Re: Ruby that is total bullshit mate.. Ask yourself are the rules not a joke in this case? To hit the horse 8 times is ok but you hit him 9 times so off you go for a 5 day day break? No wonder their was debate to go on riding. This is turning racing into a farce. What next, ban them for eating a bacon butty as it offends some vegetarians? There are degrees to severity and if 8 hits of the whip is ok but 9 hits is befitting of that punishment then I'm thinking someone writing these rules is a complete tool.
