All our troubles seemed...erm very close. The whole occasion yesterday was funereal. No atmosphere, no expectation, just downtrodden people going through the motions Pre and post match drinking in the Fort was quiet. Not looking forward to Tuesday at all. Worst thing is, I don't even know what is want to happen or see change. I don't even have hope now. I just go out of duty and the need to maintain my pointless loyalty.
If you didn’t enjoy the 2nd half yesterday and appreciate how well they played without half a team of 1st team players then it’s pointless going. I always take every issue into account when it comes to performances and yesterday we done well against a decent team. Rotherham, Pompey etc there are no excuses I accept that but there were lots of positives yesterday.
The same thing happened to Sheff Wed, Leeds, etc. One season in L1 is a novelty and a laugh but any more is a grind. The refs are shyte, the grounds are too big and the football too pedestrian. Away from home is better because their section make some noise, the away section is packed and the supporters make an effort. If you want an atmosphere you'd be better off at Arsenal tbh, we'll probably lose but it'll be better than yesterday's draw.
Meditation is very effective in raising mood, defeating anger etc. I used to think it was a load of eastern mumbo jumbo until I tried it. Years ago I was goi g through a bad time when everything seemed to be going wrong and my mind alternated between a raging maelstrom of angry thoughts and dark hopelessness. Those of my friends and loved ones that I didn’t shut out, I alienated. Then I was advised to try transcendental meditation. I realised that if nothing changed the outcome would not be good. So I gave it my best shot and religiously meditated twice a day for 20 minutes. Within a week I began to notice a change. After a few weeks I stopped losing my temper - it felt to be too much effort - and why leave the nice warm comfortable place my mind was in? I practised meditation for about 18 months, at first twice a day then reducing to twice a week. I now only do it when I feel the need. It really works! I’d recommend it to anyone of any age.
It was a League 1 game against Oxford. The atmosphere is not going to be the same as it is against Manchester United.
Gerraway. However the play off versus Lincoln atmosphere was far better than any game I have seen versus Man utd.
I only use it when I have to visit the dentist as I'm allergic to the injections from them and it helps to keep the pain to a minimum. Yes, I transcend dental medication.
