No, cos klopp wouldn't buy him at all. Same as looking at Warner and buying jota. Did he really want werner or was that all.agents and press? Who knows but jota suits the game.plan down to the ground in pressing and working and knows where the goal is (usually) but hes not and never will be the tier 1 striker people fawn over.
The only positive from today is to mention west ham 1 liverpool 2 late late goals to win the game. Is it the same feeling as then? Not really but it is 3 points not 1. Didn't feel like mentality monsters at all, it felt sloppy as ****. Roll on villa were gerrard will probably try park a bus and hit us on the break.
Don't take anything away from Wolves they had ten men behind the ball.. we are only too strong for them.
Plus Klopp rarely gets the big deals wrong, especially up top. Salah, mane, Jota been his 3 big signings and all been brilliant. If klopp wanted him and we got him, I’d imagine it’s because he knows that he would fit in with exactly the style we play. He’ll prob end up at Madrid anyway
some really foul language poured out of me after that I’ve been really calm watching us over the past few years but couldn’t keep that one in!
It was **** but you gotta try to enjoy a divok injury time special to win it. It stunned me into a shocked silence quite honestly, just sat with my jaw open for about 30 seconds before saying "wtf was that?"
i think he genuinely wants the best for the lad and thinks he’d do a good job week in week out somewhere else
Think Alisson and VVD might have something to say there Edit; Just realised you've attempted to link it to the "up top" party of your comment
I think the 3 points might be the most obvious positive to take from today. Fan logic: Last week we won 4-0 and blew the opposition away, this week we didn't - therefore this week we are ****e. Nothing to do with how the opposition perform like.
He's also ****. And not a striker. In fact people really, really need to take him out of their ff team
Klopp says to Origi: "Okay Div - you've got a whole ten minutes. Get on that pitch and get me a ****ing goal or you're off to Bournemouth. Works every time.
And one miracle clearance, and one absolutely incredulous sitter missed by Jota, who calmly walked a far. far more difficult chance into the net only last week.
