No one really looked like they were trying to fly like an eagle working with Turkies.

If Pacman gets in when he's let in 3 that is a sign of the game.

I agree, we gave them a game after the break and showed we can go face to face with them/anyone.
    Positives
    MC only scored 3 times
    We scored once!
Until Brentford good night all and thanks for the banter.

    Have a good one y'all.

I have got, arrachera (flank steak,) chorizo, wings & tuna steaks to BBQ. Nopales (cactus leaves,) a green salsa and spring onions (they are the best, to BBQ, try it!) on the way.

Oh, and Chile güeros, also the best, stuffed with cheese and bacon.

Well we drew the 2nd half .

    Quite an achievement !

Looked dangerous in attack when we could and Bachmann will gain some confidence .

Big games coming up - let’s hope that defence improves.

Bachmann has to be our MOM. Will be glad when some on the WO who want him out shut up.

Daniel Bachmann made nine saves against Man City, the joint most by a goalkeeper in a Premier League game this season.

I have watched any number of these games since the start of the EPL. My conclusion. What's the point ? I am immensely proud of our players , our club and our supporters. I am intensely appalled at the rigged nature of the EPL - thank you FA - and the pointlessness of it. When Smith, as patronising and useless a commentator as he was a player - says "You can see the difference in class and quality , but still they ( Citeh) are determined" why wasn't he honest enough to say "and you can see the difference in the money they have spent and have available"? Financial Fair Play ? Ha ! Twaddle. Citeh explicitly stated that if they were found guilty of any FFP rules, they would pursue the authorities though the courts until the authorities gave up. Where is the level playing field there ?
We'll get all these platitudes from Guardiola " Hard game blah blah blah" - same from Lineker et al " - desperately tying to avoid admitting the bleeding obvious. The league is rigged. Leicester did us all a disservice by winning it - wonderful though it was. They made it look like a level playing field. ( And my admiration for Ranieri , then and now is undiminished.) What did the 'big' clubs do ? They went out and spent even more money. Quite apart from having nicked Sancho from us , ( noone mentions where he came from any more) Citeh have just done it again with Tomas Galvez. As I said, the system is rigged.
A pal of mine observes that he would much rather be in a competitive Championship than in the 2 tier EPL. I am inclined to agree, however many one-offs we get against Liddypool etc.
And, any doubt that the system is rigged went out the window when we didn't get a penalty for a blatant trip.

City and Liverpool are a by a mile the best teams in the league with Chelsea a distant 3rd. Those 3 are tough games for any manager to win, I think you'll be fine providing you put some points on the board over the next 2 games.

What was really frustrating was the refereeing

Grealish actually got a free kick for stumbling, every time we challenged for possession they got a cheap free kick

Hernandez made a difference and scored a good goal

We do need at least one if not two top class centre backs and a good left back, right back wearer with Femenia and Ngakia
