Semenyo had a good game, as did O’Dowda & Massengo (although a bit rash at times) Looked two poor sides, think we just about edged it.. 3 points at this stage is all that matters despite another average performance..
well what a gamble, been busy all afternoon got glimpses from time to time and dont think we had more than 37% all through after about 60 mins they had had hardly a shot/ on goal at 68 it was 5 allowed them right back in!!!!!!

I don’t like this sit back after going 1-0 up. First half played with press second half allowed them to press. Thought Semenyo scared the **** out of them in first half, second half he was quieter possibly knackered. O’Dowda (and I never thought I would be saying this) looked good first half, but did not cover their winger so can understand swapping him for Pring. Vyner needs to stop panicking and do more thinking. Scott is going to leave for big money, so best enjoy him whilst we’ve got him. Messengo looked good and was snapping at their heels. Only noticed Bakinson when he had his handbag spat. RR if you think Chris Martin is different gravy, I suggest you check you’re not putting brown sauce on your Sunday lunch. Can’t remember one shot that they had on target. People sat behind saying Semenyo is **** and he must be one of those ones that Nige wants rid of. Don’t think they realise he’s been injured and they only just come back. Or just clueless. final note, it was ****ing cold.
I admit that I originally didn’t rate either Semenyo nor Massengo and I thought of them as being more of LJs ‘duds’. I’m delighted to say I’ve changed my mind on both of them - they are turning into really useful players. Great win and 3 points. Well done Nige and the boys. If we keep playing that way though we will be punished - as we’ve already seen multiple times this season already.
How can we still be 30/70% possession against us at home to the bottom side? NP has too sort this out, we will lose more than we win if we keep having those possession stats game after game. Happy with the 3 points, but still very concerned with our lack of possession in games!
It’s been done ever since the Taxi car bomb in Liverpool, has its pros and cons I suppose but when I went to the Stoke game they literally gave up searching people as it got close to kick off, not forgetting hundreds of people stood right next to each without masks and in the middle of the road, a terrorist would have a field day in that situation.
