Looks like they won't have to investigate as the 'exemptions' in the Legislation appear to cover Gov buildings.
    Convenient...<doh>

Trying to gloss over the fact that their officers have to have known but did **** all

Even if you consider the guests were snuck in the back door, if an officer can't recognise the sound of several dozen people doing karaoke, they should be sacked for gross incompetence

On the other hand, if they won't investigate government buildings, that does mean that anyone with a sniper rifle has a loophole they can exploit

    Oops indeed...

Parties/Second Jobs/Criminal activities/Expense fiddling/ Iffy donations. They should be working for us, not vice versa.

One problem is that all the time they are playing playground squabbles the are doing it at our expense and not running the country properly. There should be a way of raising any issue for investigation without playing party politics. If they are found guilty kick em out.

I have to work about 70-80 hrs per week on my one HS2 job despite only being paid for 37.5. I couldn't, even if I wanted to have another job. MP's ought to be similar. Pretty simple solution, ban second jobs. Furthermore, for fiddling, law breaking, any conviction of a criminal offence should mean instant dismissal. In the event an appeal is pending, a suspension without salary should be invoked. If the conviction is over turned then full backdated salary should be paid. Fiddling expenses should result in all expenses during that Parliament being dismissed, not just the false ones.

Any political donations should be displayed on the home page of each MP's web site.

If he was really serious about human rights breaches in Saudi, He'd get on a plane tonight and refuse to race. It would cost him the drivers title but he's got 7 of them, it's not like winning his first one. If he races he is reinforcing the Saudi regime, if he walked he would be making a massive statement and sticking two fingers up at them.

England should also do the same for the world cup. Excluding South Africa eventually brought in change, albeit a rather flawed change, blanking Qatar could be the first step in getting them to change.

It also should be mentioned that Lucy Allen is noted for two things
1.) Faking a death threat sent to her
2.) Retweeting far right conspiracies (which were also retweeded by Nadine Dorries and Maria Caulfield)

What a trustworthy person she is!

    Totally agree.
It's just that whereas in past generations of politicians (Right & Left) personal gain was as added extra to the role as public servants, this current crop of Tories consider it to be the only consideration.
They have no social conscience. They are literally, in the main, Sociopaths.

An often used example, but even Thatcher for all the divisive, destructive nature of her policies would have been appalled by Johnson and his shallow, spineless criminality.

Unfortunately, they not only have an 80 seat majority, but they are now removing key Democratic Rights - so buckle in - the UK is on for a rough (downhill) rollercoaster ride.
