Spammers are currently the luckiest team in the league, hopefully the injuries will take their toll over the next few weeks
Zouma went off injured today and Ogbonna's out for the foreseeable future. It'll be interesting to see how they cope at the back now. Might have to use Rice.
I said a while back, they don’t have the squad to keep this up all season. Not going to lie, the sooner their bubble bursts the better
Got to admit. A rare thing for me to want a Chelsea win to go above (?) West Ham for 4th.But what the hell. Hooray for West Ham.....and the most screwed up pass that became a goal and putting all that egg on the Chelsea keepers face I've seen for many moons. Newcastle next on the box.Looks interesting! I hope Spurs don't finish their game tomorrow with egg on their faces. Peacock have all the games tomorrow.Bastards!!!!!!
They might have time to prepare for injuries now, as there's a decent gap to the window. A couple of loans or some sensibly spent cash could make a massive difference.
I wonder if they would swap Rice and Soucek for Fred and McTominay? Lingard could be thrown in too - and a few others.
Guardiola: My squad is so thin and weak. What will I do? Also Guardiola: Subs on De Bruyne, Mahrez and Jesus.
Didn't see the Liverpool game. Was there the right amount of injury time? Has anyone done any stats to see whether 'certain teams' get more injury time when they need it?
yes wolves players were dropping like flies plus subs so actually the 5 mins was quite mean considering the norm is 4 mins .
It did end in the 97th minute Milner coming on for Salah in the 96th minute when 1-0 down implies that Norbert read the scoreboard back to front
I thought we'd draw but certainly didn't expect to win. The current table is probably a more just reflection of the sides. We can compete with Liverpool and City over 10-15 games but over 38 they just have more quality than we do.
Early days yet (apart from the current top 3 being miles better than the rest of the PL) . We'll get a measure of the squad strength / management firstly by the end of the month, and again the month after.
December’s a big month. So many games in a short time, which will test the depth and resilience of some squads. The Christmas period, in particular, is often a make or break time. Chelsea wobbling with a few injuries, but City look to be playing well within themselves and winning easily. I’d make Chelsea 3rd favourites, but it can all change again - especially when it gets to March and April and teams are playing crucial games twice per week.
