It's working out to be another bad signing......good player, but can't stand up without injuring himself!!

I still think he shouldn’t have been played mid week, after being played for the full 90 mins the previous Saturday, whilst being out for so long with injuries. It was asking for trouble imo, and not hindsight as I said so at the time.

Think he's one of those players that's injury prone..not sure being left out would have made much difference IMO......

Check out his record before signing for us. Something like played 70% of the time, not injury prone previously. It’s common sense not to play a guy that’s coming back from long term injury 3 times a week.

But he's been injured with us since he signed......it's a gamble every time he's picked IMO.......I'd say, we can't trust that he will be a regular.....we need equivalent cover..

All the more reason not to pick him midweek when he played a full 90 minutes the previous Saturday , madness and asking for trouble

Begs the question........leave him out midweek, play him every other week...maybe monthly!! IMO...he's either fit to play or he's not....but that's my opinion.
Either way, having an injury prone player, throws the consistency within the team up in the air..........which IMO is part of our problem, leading to poor performances..

He was fit to play Sat, he wasn’t fit to play midweek after such a long layoff it isn’t difficult to understand, it isn’t rocket science.

You said he’s injury prone. I pointed out that His record shows he wasn’t before he joined us.

If he wasn't fit, then he shouldn't have been even on the bench IMO..this is going in circles from a previous thread..
IMO you start your best 11 if fit, left out if needing time to recover

Of course we know different we look at his record . It may well turn out his injury was actually career ending as he himself was concerned enough about to have his own private op rather than go through our club

Doesn't matter how it happened or what the records say...since we signed him he's been injury prone and while he's injured, he's unplayable........which makes the situation unreliable......

By the way, I think he could be a key player for us.....but his continuous injuries and minutes on the field, does nothing to help the team at present..
