Jota turn was sensational but the keeper was on his knees before he even shot. Awful awful keeping.

Whether jota looked and picked his spot based on the crap in front of him I simply dont know.

Went in with his eyes open, no doubt, but he was the one who coined the phrase, 'Small club' when describing Everton. He's had a mare there and last night I was gutted to hear our fans chant 'Rafa's at the wheel'.

I just wonder what really went through his mind when contemplating the Everton job. Did he really think he could bring the club out of the mire, or is this all down to their players?

He was probably lied to about transfer funds. I cant believe he went in expecting to spend 1.8mil and bring in 10mil after losing 4/5 players.

In the end if they dont even give him a real transfer window with funds they will just end up with another **** manager

Always be a legend but his best moments are in the past,

This. He did great things for our club and modernized it well, but he seems to be past his best as a manager. I wouldn't take him back anymore. For a long time I would have, but I just don't think he is what he was. (Nothing to do with managing Everton, that doesn't bother me).

Dont remember the fans singing that at all. All I heard was the fans singing Rafa, rafael

They were crazy to offer him the job, and he was crazy to take it, imo.
He was always on a hiding to nothing - he'd have had to win everything including the Boat Race to please some of those fans.
It's a nice little earner for him I suppose, but I doubt he needs the money and it's not worth the ignominy.

I wouldn't have, tbh - I don't think returns work well very often.
