Taking the knee is the iconic symbol of the Black Lives Matter movement. You cannot change that, and so taking the knee and saying it doesn't mean that, is worthless.

It's interesting that an increasing number of players are giving up the knee and reverting to kick out racism badges on their shirts

This has been over time and time again but to be fair, nothing will really change how people think. An emblem on a shirt or taking the knee wont change a racist from being a racist. A slight glimpse of light for the younger generation though, seeing their heroes take the knee for racial equality.

 

It's great to see players demonstrating unity over racial equality. But stupid that authorities have chosen the iconic gesture of a divisive Marxist organisation to do it.
