The other options are either injured (Lo Celso), on the bench (Ndombele) or too terrifying to comprehend (Lloris)

Harry Kane looking, moving and not for the first time resembling someone's Great Grandfather.

Can you imagine us lot as a coach...

"Right dumbasses , listen up. This week's plan is ... when we get a corner just kick it out so they get a throw in at their own corner flag...they'll never get a break away Goal from there!"

I think it probably was, as it was better than average by our standards, can't imagine Brentford being so compliant in the 2nd half reckon they will give it a proper go, first 15 mins vital - next goal wins type game.

The bias toward certain teams is often more subtle than we think. Sure the decisions that directly lead to a goal are more obvious, but there's others. For example, does anyone believe that Brentford wouldn't have received two yellow cards for the same incidents playing at Anfield or OT? It really does make a difference. Now those players know they can do exactly the same thing - again - for something they could not do if they were already on one.

I should also say that Brentford have done a great job of getting right to Moura in that first half, as he’s such an important source of progression for us, it’s had a real impact. Let’s see what happens this half.

Yup, just can’t buy a goal can he. You expect him to bury it.

Great from Skippy in the buildup.

This is getting scrappy and I think a change could do some good at this point.

Lethal. A wingback finally gets it right. Kill the game now.
