COVID 19 is a good option. Not the “make you ill & kill you part” just the “lose your sense of smell and taste” part
This touches on something that really annoys me - the lack of intergrity of most corporations. They espouse their environmental commitment, yet continue to supply their products in loads of unnecessary packaging, often plastic. Crisp bags seem to have gotten bigger, yet the contents smaller! A typical crisp bag is about 1/3 full. Amazon (and others) with their ridiculous oversized packaging which is then not just the outer cardboard box but also then the filler plastic and paper. Etc Etc. It should be so easy to address, but the reality is that there's little real will and most of it is lip service and marketing speak.
I was replying to this. "People just love to label themselves and others don’t they". So the point was i was labelling myself.
How achievable is "locally sourced" realistically? Surely it'd be great if we imported and exported much less food but there doesn't seem to be much will to do it from those that matter.
I'm not going vegan any time soon but the amount of bending over backwards people do to justify why it's not a worthy diet is quite amazing sometimes.
