Insigne and Perisic been quietly linked with free transfers in the summer.

Definite yes to Insigne, big fan of his. Big fan of Perisic too but at 32 he probably won’t appeal to the rumours of us wanting prospects, mind you Insigne wouldn’t either but you can’t pass up on a player in their prime.

 

If we have Di Marzio say we're not looking at Brozovic or De Vrij because of their age, that surely rules out Perisic too

 

And Insigne. He's a year older than either of them.

Goes against the rumours of us wanting up and comers but despite his age it’s hard to say no to a player of his quality on a free. Definitely wouldn’t be disappointed with it.

 

Conte apparently likes him but I can’t help but feel that the time to sign him would have been 3 years or so ago. Jury is out for me. Would depend massively on who we move on, tbh.

 

One year deal with an option of a further year would feel like a smart move to me.

The potential free transfers this summer are gonna be unreal though; Mbappe, Bale, Perisic, Insigne, Pogba, Romagnoli, Kessie, Dembele, Brozovic, Rudiger and a good bunch more. You could probably build a title winning team or certainly close to one.

 

Realistically we need to test if somebody blinks in January and make a serious play for Kessie or Brozovic

 

And would you look at that, Spanish reports saying we’re interested in a summer deal for Dembele to replace Lucas in Conte’s 343.
