We can, but whether we will i don't know. We have a lot more quality but we don't have a good record against them. I'll be very happy with a draw.

 

We have got a bad run of games coming up, but all the crap and bile against our players boiled my blood today. As far as I'm concerned they can all take a flying one. Who the hell do they think we are? Real Madrid?

 

I agree, I wouldn't be bothered if we just tried to completely sit back and hold possesion for 90 minutes.

As this is normal human behaviour when frustrated/anxious i think you're taking peoples comments to heart too much and boy was that a frustrating game maybe our expectations have been raised a bit and in the cold light of day we'll realise it but in heat of the moment things are said that aren't meant. i think you're being a bit harsh,the only comment that really warranted your response was the 'we should sell jonas as he's had 1 good game in 8'

 

Makes it a bit harder when the opposition have 12 on their team and the guy running the line on the Milburn side may as well have been wearing blue today.

i know at one point i thought he was on a yellow and the ref was being lenient cos he didn't want to send the lad off but he didn't even speak to him poor ref i thought and caldwells diving save at the edge of the box he was right in front of him

Still battled on like the work horse he is. Got to admire his never say die attitude.

Just heard the Sunderland result for the first time, kind of takes the edge off the day a bit.

actually thought it was going to be a really frustrating day and end up 0-0 but when marv came on we looked a lot better we just didn't get going whether that was down to complacency or Wigans game plan i don't know probably a bit of both

I think Wigan played a good game against us by packing the midfield full of hard working players to combat our creative engine. As people have pointed out though wor Sylvain added the edge, he's such a clever player.

 

Blimey didn't realise that was what had happened, fair play to him, lots of players would have wimped off.

 

Bolton must really be ****e, a few mackems there saying that they won playing hoofball and they also played ****e

 

They have lost the last 7 home games in a row now, must have some effect on them. think they lost 5-0 to Man Utd and 5-1 to Chelsea in that run.
