Brilliant player used to love watching him. A top bloke as well, very sad as he suffered for 30+ years with Parkinsons.

Just been listening to people talk about him on talksport radio. Ex team mates phoning in telling stories, have heard my dad talk about him many times over the years.

The great thing about being a legend and a fan of this club is times like these imo, proper comes together.

Kennedy had a hell of a shot, bit like Jimmy Case in that respect but a more elegant player. Arsenal fans loved him and were a bit cheesed off when he came to us

Legend in the true sense of the word and one of my favourite players as a kid. I always chanted his name from the terraces.
He won titles and trophies with the club and was instrumental in our success back then. Underrated and should have been selected more often internationally but not often was, which used to annoy me. Stayed true to the Liverpool shirt. After his diagnosis for Parkinsons and eventual retreat, I just hope he knew how highly he was esteemed and loved by Liverpool fans all over the world and was never forgotten. May he rest in peace and never walk alone. :emoticon-0152-heart

Unfortunately, I'm not old enough to remember seeing him at Liverpool, but I salute him in his role for making us what we were, and are.

Yet another very sad day. A magnificent player and a top man to boot. Stood on the Kip and watched him grace the pitch on numerous occasions. RIP
