    .....but a victory for football.

That was a piss poor display of anti-football, aided by by far the worst refereeing performance of the season.

We were poor, particularly in the first half, but how good did it feel when that goal went in and justice was done?

    Outstanding.

The Ref was appalling and could have ruined it.

Who was it that was kicking our player on the floor and got nothing for it?? Are Watford the stoke of the championship?

I think I did a little Wee when Korens went in. Their support was the worst we've had all season.

    Great 3 points, great win.

The ref was pretty poor, for both sides. I could see those on the Watford bench getting particularly annoyed as well. I recall getting a corner and nobody quite knew why.

We deserved to win that game, we played great passing football at times. Watford had the upper hand with strength and from set-pieces, but I suppose it is good to come out on top after playing passing football.

Even though it sounds as if we did not play the best, credit to the lads for battling out a win, having been down twice and coming back. I predicted on another thread 3-0 to City with McClean/Fryatt & Chester scoring, didn't predict one of them would be an own goal though UTT.

I thought Evans was the weak link in the side today, but no complaints, god how did we all feel when the winner went in, I slipped down the turnstile stairs, but who cares ?

Sign of a good team when you can win and not play at your best. Happy to get the win and looking forward to seeing the game on FLS. Hoping to be back for the West Ham game!

This was the best type of game by far...... we didnt play particulaly well yet won and we saw our weakness in defence.... our heading, we are a true footballing team not a heading team. Probably the best game I've seen in ages. I Love it!!! COYT

most annoyed by the loach handball right in front of the linesmen. Great result and performance. I couldn't help running to Rosie and Koren at the end :)

Lets not forget we've done our fair share of time wasting from the staart of matches. When we were in the top flight it was our best way of getting points/ avoiding losing.

I'd say the linos and the ref was utter ****e today. Total jokes the lot.

I would like you to define what you mean? If you mean on 45 minutes their goalie was wasting time. Then thats strange cos Basso was doing the exact same thing in the first ten minutes. No urgency whatsoever in the first half or for much of the second half.
What did the ref get wrong? I thought he got most things right.
We got out of jail today. Good teams do that, but we should have blown Watford away. Christ i would love Iwelumo in our team.

The ref bottled it early doors....Fryatt's going for the ball in their box, one of theirs comes across and blocks Fryatts attempt to get the ball....He gives a free kick to them....Their keeper handles the ball outside the box, everyone in the East Stand sees it, the ref and the wooden top lino on the East Stand side don't..
The ref is five yards from the ball, the lino on the west stand side about 20 yards away flags for a City free kick. Only then does the ref give a free kick..
I would like to see the assessors report. I don't like to be criticial of refs, but today I have to say he was pi$$ poor.

Evans a weak link? I thought Evans was one of our better players today and would probably have given Dudgeon MOM. Watford were dire 3 passes max before it got launched up to Iwelumo or down the flanks for the nippy striker to chase. We got exposed on crosses time and again, I hope our players were watching Yeates cross a ball because his delivery was superb, into the danger area every time.
