Everton crowd already proper pissed off. If we can get an early goal, or just dominate the ball for 20 mins they’ll get more and more frustrated.

Yeah, they are not in a good place atm. so an early goal would really knock them. They will have some derby fire in their bellies but we're in
decent form so.........I predict 3 points to the reds at Goodison.

We need to do United a favour against Everton on Wednesday by taking points off one of their mid-table rivals, after them drawing with Chelsea today. Only fair. :emoticon-0143-smirk

Rafa out of the goodness of his heart took on that job and received death threats for some scum posing as everton fans.

He was then handed a pathetic transfer budget on 1.8mil losing Walcott, james, bernard, bolasie, king besic (evidence of the absolute rank management of that club previously) for 10-15mil.

in short he was forced to bargain bucket drop and evertons best two players? His bargain dips. Gray and townsend.

    what do they expect?

    Pickford in goal
Old man coleman at RB who hasn't been right for 2 years
    Keane (slab head lite)
    mina (crock)
digne (not bad, low life but what can you do.)
    Decoure (good)
    Allan (very good)
    Gray (bargain blucket)
    Townsend (bargain bucket)
    Richarilson (asshole)
    Calvert Lewin 9sicknote)

Is not an awful side but the injuries are the issue. Calvert Lewin, mina, dacoure and now gray? Somehting like that. Thats a lot of their best players TBH. There not too managers who could cope with that but to throw in the negativity and not even give him a full window.... well they would deserve everything coming if they turn on him.

gomes is injured as well. the less said about siggurdsson the better.

finally special mention to whoever bought iwobi out of arsneal. well done that man. what a ****ing waste.

£30m for iwobi makes Andy Carroll look an absolute bargain. As you say, they’re missing A few key players and squad strength just isn’t there and then you have Richarlison going and getting a stupid yellow in previous game to get suspended as your only fit striker for the Brentford game.

It’s incredible how some clubs have just been so poor in the market over the last 4/5 years and then you look at others further down with less money who find gems and wonder what these bigger clubs are doing.

Everton, Spurs, Arsenal, even United before this year. Some shocking business when you compare to what Leicester, West Ham, Brentford, Leeds, Burnley have done for a fraction of the budget. If the people responsible for signings like iwobi, ndombele, Sanchez, Xhaka, Fred, AWB, lindeloff are still at the clubs and involve in transfers then they must have some dodgy photos of those in charge.

Watching AWB last night and I couldn't stop laughing. It's ridiculous that he has this reputation of being a good defender when in reality, he is only good at slide tackling. He is such an average footballer.

Are you sure Richarlison didn’t just go in to make sure he didn’t get a yellow in the next game and therefore would have missed the Liverpool game ?
If I am understanding what he did correctly?
And Tbf loads of players take tactical yellows

Richarilson is always at it. He was suspended yesterday on 5 yellows so presume he is good to go hacking and kicking Wednesday.

everton were left with rondon from the bargain bucket up top.

I think holgate will be back ready to throw himself about as well.

everyone knows slide tackles are as a result of poor positioning. Ideally you want your defenders facing the opponent making bocks or at worst running with the oppenet and making a stab tackle to put the ball away. going to ground sliding means you were in neither position.

Wet Biscuit is just a plain **** player. The end.

IMO theres a common link here.

Everton - owner has no clue what football is.
Spurs - Yanks absentee landlord with a guy who fancies himself as a business man but his name is mud to players.
Arsenal - Again absentee landlord owner appoing donekys as director of football
Utd- guess what Absetee landlord owner with a total muppet in woodward in charge of the show.

LFC are just plain lucky we are not still in the Rodgers committee era as we were doing exactly the same. Its down to klopp not a magic technical director or care about the club from FSG. we could quite easily join this lot very quickly after klopp.

City's sucess is as much about how the arabas structured the club as the money. They threw shed loads of cash at it at the start for nothing but once they got and retained Txiki Begiristain (primarily cos the barca political system is a disaster and lets this kind of talent go in a quasi purge like self harm every few years due to elections)

the very best news we can year in the next 6 months is ed woodward stays at utd and ragnarick gets the hump and leaves. If he becomes their director of football then all bests are off lads.

I mentioned this on the United board earlier. Him being given a 'consultancy' role after the 6 months sounds like he will give advice but United don't need to take it. If he became the actual DoF with real responsibilities and power, then he can implement some significant changes.

    yup.

the best the mancs can currently seem to hope for is he recommends the real next DoF

the guy is 63. He is never a managerial option long term but its all about the "big job" and I am sure he is delighted to be bought out of russia. where he was on good coin. the consultancy will give him the excuse to retire at 66 loaded and go home. (ie he will be 64 at end of season and the two more years get him to 66.)

the key here for utd is to get genuine football competency in and break the ex player/"ferguson way" bullshit.

The fans and demands set the tone IMO, theres nobody on the planet that doesn't know man utd are loaded and expect to win things but at the same time they are now a laughing stock as their system is a joke and quality is severely lacking.

Football evolves. A man utd fan demanding 2 winger and two forwards cos thats the way fergie did it might as well be talking about LFC in the 1980s. Even mourinho's chelsea system or wenger's arsenal systems all had their day and football moved on. Utd need the next system not the old system.

Right now that means high lines, hard pressing, players who know their roles and put the shift in applying it.

all it took was take one player out of LFC and the whole thing came crashing down last year. All its taken is to insert one player into utd (ronaldo) and its all comes crashing down there too.

It'll be interesting to see how they deal with the aged superstar this summer.

PSG have an even worse problem on thier hands and the man utd fans are screaming for hasn't solved it. 3 passenger up top and the midfield is 3 runners in narrow to try compensate.

Messi wins an 8th player of the year. Not sure how Lewa didn’t win it tbh. Guys had an outrageous year as well as winning a load of trophies.

Not sure how these things are all voted for as some of the positions seem to be all over the place
