I've spoken in defence of leaving early before, and I haven't changed my mind. However, if you missed that goal, you are a fool. There is no defence for those that were leaving, especially before the board for added time went up. There is a smart way to approach leaving the game early, and you only do so when you know that you aren't going to miss an important goal.
If I,m on ths bus I have to leave at 90 minutes so YES I missed the goal but if I miss it I have a 60 minute wait and a 2 hour drive home so its not as simple as some people think and I'm still on the bus to Cleethorpes !!!!
My mate left early and missed the Koren Kracker, I understand some people may need to catch busses and catch a lift etc. but surely not 2000 of them.
We stayed and always do. Some people who now have season tickets in front of us, and look very much like they've moved over from the west stand left about 5 minutes from Korens cracker. It felt even better because of this! Now, as for the last bus and 2 hour drive excuse??? Sorry I just don't get it? why drive for 2 hours and rely on a bus??? As for the game, Evans and Hobbs had shockers, Cairney was too negative and the ref was utter ****e! BUT our strikers scored (tick) Rosenior was superb (tick) Chester and Dudge were solide (tick) and Koren scored another absolute beaut (tick, tick, tick, tick, tick, tick,) Oh and the time wasting, long ball lot lost 51 seconds from the end. Quality (tick)
With about a minute to go my mate said there's another goal in this game..I said he should go forth and multiply....Stone the bleeding crows...Koren gets the ball, jinks inside a couple of half hearted tackles and hits a screamer.....low into the left side of the goal....Sorry Daz....Your the MAN...
Went and made a cup of tea thinking we had drew 2-2 , and my footy bet..Charlton , Sheffield wed, Huddersfield and hull city had gone down only to return to living room and find out we won !!! Yeeees. Couldn't make it today and ended my 26 home league games in a row run. Arghh but yes and double yes to a great win..
I stayed and witnessed a cracking goal and the roof being lifted off the KC by the fans. Also thought it poetic justice on Watford that the City players took their time returning to to the centre circle after the third goal. A case of what goes around comes around.
