Get Firpo off and put Shack on. Put Shack at RB and Dallas at LB against Lamptey. Get Harrison off and put Struijk on. Put James on the left to help Dallas with Lamptey, put Rodrigo up front. Let Phillips play in the middle with Forshaw. We'd be more solid and we still have Gelhardt to come on fresh to try and win us the game. This fluidity of the front 4 doesn't work. Let's get a shape back, be tougher to play through and use Rapha, Rodrigo/Gelhardt to try and do something to win us the game.
Re. Phillips - I think I'm seeing him play a dual role. Seems to slide into MF when either his man or one of the strikers drops back. Only seems to be in the bck 3 when they attack imo (which is most of the game so far!). As for Firpo, who can disagree with the comments made. He's not properly Bielsaballed - & it shows! Anyone noticed that the majority of our (limited) attacks is up the left? I believe we're concentrating on that wing to force Lamptey back into defence, only someone forgot to tell Lamptey that. Always loved him as a player. He has created 4 clear goal-scoring chances so far. Us? Going through the motions would be the best description. Hopefully Bielsa will come up with the answers 2nd half. I wonder if Struijk will come on for Firpo?
Why spend all that money on Dan James and play him as a striker? He is so isolated, he’s lost, he has to play on the left and push Lampty back a bit. Bielsa has lost the plot if he doesn’t change this about and if the answer is Rodrigo for Roberts I’ll turn it off
Think we need to take Firpo and Harrison off for Struijk and Gelhardt. Struijk has done well at LB recently, can keep his man and has a bit of pace. James on left wing with Gelhardt up front.
Let’s be honest, we deserve an absolute gubbing here. I try never to criticise the top man but if he can’t see how **** we are with three at the back I really don’t know what to say. Every team should do it because then we’ll go down
Not sure it’s James fault. Wouldn’t matter if we had Gelhardt or Bamford in that first half because most of the game is being played in our half.
I totally agree mate I’m not blaming him, just bewildered why we’re getting slaughtered down that side and not using James and his pace to help fix it.

Yeah, I can see that. I just think we have to stop the supply to Lamptey. Rodrigo isn't exactly a workhorse in the midfield. If we can get Phillips and Forshaw together in midfield we might be able to stop the supply a bit more. Struijk is more than capable of stepping in to midfield ala Phillips did in the first half. Shack is good at keeping possession from RB. **** me, on that half everything needs changing. Hopefully it's like Spurs last week and now they've had their half it is now our turn.
