Phillips likes playing for England in his favoured position, he has strongly hinted he doesn’t like dropping into a back line. Bielsa is too stubborn with his formation when we face two strikers, we look disjointed and this is relegation performance. On here we’re all saying get Firpo off, it’s so clear he’s a walking liability

He is a liability but Harrison has completely hung him out to dry. He got him booked and is now leaving him one v one in loads of space against the quickest player in the league. We should be doubling up on that side. Firpo can't afford to put a tackle in. It's an impossible task.

Firpo and Harrison off, put James and his pace wide left and make them think twice. Midfield for us just doesn’t exist with Phillips having to play deep. Cooper would have been getting slaughter for how slow he was to react then but it was Llorente so he’ll be fine even though he almost cost us a goal.
We actually played better with Phillips at CB against Spurs. If you watch the interview with Phillips from last week I don’t think that’s what he’s saying, I think he’s more hinting at the fact the players didn’t play the game very well.
