No idea why we played passive defensive football so long. Switched style after the subs but unfortunately let in second goal waiting to put them on. Should have played that way from the start. Clear pen looking at it, shoulder charges aren’t in the back.
Deserved to lose though. Expected and 2-0 not disastrous. Let’s see where we go from here.

 

I think the shoulder charge on Wilson wasn’t a penalty.

Having said that. Against us and it’s a penalty.

Arsenal are a much better side than than us mate.. I was actually way off in my judgement on them prior.

Also im not joking when I say the ref gave the lads nothing. He gave them absolutely nothing, so when you're dealing with a side that's got the ball and that gives you no more than a second it became impossible.

We should have had 2 pens imo maybe 3.

Basically our players were looking to go down because they had no time and the ref was just allowing arsenal to go through the back of them from minute 1.

 

We are not getting soft penalties ever again mate. Even obvious ones will be argued away.

Just didn’t see any improvement and it felt very flat.

Not long to Jan now. But it’s going to be to late.

Which is why it's odd we haven't got the DoF in yet. They need to be getting players to sign now so they walk in on 1st January (or when the transfer window opens)

If we win the next 2 it'll look better, but Iit looks very much like a gear in the championship and if so it doesn't bother me that much.

The ref made sure you couldn't see an improvement....the worst ref ever imo.

if the other sides much better than you then you need the ref to give you the free kick here and there.

You’re right mate, my bad, saw a pic of her in a Sunderland jersey but it turned out to be a forfeit…..I’d love to bust her piss flaps

 

I thought we started quite brightly then retreated into our shell as soon as the ref started giving everything to Arsenal and nothing to our lads. First 15 minutes or so I felt we pressed well and created a bit of pressure, then we sat deep and hardly mounted an attack till it was too late. I fear its a mental issue with some of these lads as much as a talent issue.

 

1sr half Wilson had a 50/50 tussle and arsenal win the ball. The ref gives **** all

5 mins later Wilson has a 50/50 tussle newcastle win the ball and are in.. Ref gives arsenal a freekick.

It went on and on.. I think it was 18 minutes before Newcastle got a freekick

 

Not really nothings changed since wolves away other than becoming stinking rich..

We've lost a game vs one of the biggest clubs in the world.

I think the consortium are going to have to blow FFP out the window in Jan. I hoped we'd buy a new spine without kicking the arse out of it and hope to kick on. After failing to beat Brentford and the looming threat of Wilson missing one in the next couple of games we will possibly get 1 win in the next 2 or 3. It's not enough and means we need to go and be ****ing savage come Jan. **** this new spine. Buy a new starting 11 and extra option for def mid and att mid

 

Just spunking money isn't the answer these days.

Build for the championship in January and if we stay up great.

 

We won't, need to win 11/12 games, won't happen.
