Not played anyone decent yet!

    Keep hearing that we haven't really played anyone decent yet, but if you compare our results so far to what we got last season, we would have been in the relegation zone on 6 points

    Arsenal 0-0 (4-4)
    Sunderland 1-0 (0-0)
    Fulham 2-1 (0-0)
    Aston Villa 1-1 (0-1)
    Blackburn 3-1 (1-2)
    Wolves 2-1 (1-1)
    Tottenham 2-2 (1-1)
    Wigan 1-0 (2-2)

    I have taken out QPR as we didnt play them last year, so last season we would have had 6 points from 8 games and lying in bottom 3, so from these 'easy' games we have managed to pick up an extra 12 points, and last season we still managed to finish in a comfortable midtable position, about a minute away from a top half finish.

    100% agree. Last season we didn't take advantage of 'lesser' teams and dropped a **** tonne of points can definitely see the improvement last season we would have lost this game <ok>

    I know and from out next 5 fixtures we only picked up 1 point from them last year. 0-4 at Stoke, 1-2 v Everton, 1-2 v Man City, 0-3 v Man Utd and 1-1 v Chelsea. So just say we got 5 points from them we would definetly be on the right track :)

    I'm just going to go off the principal that, according to them, the only real tests are Chelsea, Utd and City. Therefore we will remain unbeaten against every other team because they simply aren't a test, and we'll comfortably finish 4th. Hoorah!

    our result away against whoever got relegated in 18th would be a fair comparison IMO

    oh well, brings down our points this year:points last year ratio. Still a more fair comparison though (we should also use 19th - Norwich and 20th - Swansea)
