Years ago after i had got a home after a serious night out Mrs Solid woke me up at about 4 in the morning during a gale to tell me she thought the roof was going to blow off and what was i going to do . For some reason she seemed unimpressed with my reply of " well if it does then wake me up and i will think of something "
Sounds reasonable enough, what are you supposed to do when the roof is still in tact, climb up there and lay on it to try and stop it blowing off ? I hope you told your missus what a dickhead she was being
That's not very nice mate. I thought you were going to help those people by using the catapult to launch them across the channel to land on the green fields of Blighty
I slept through the great storm mate, got up the next day and everyone on about trees down. I'm like wtf you all on about, I'm going to work, 10 mins later I'm coming home...other half, what's up...the cops stopped me and wouldn't let me go any further because of all the trees down.
It's been pretty chill here, bit of rain earlier but calm since. I like thunder storms, just windy ones are ****
they only got electricity so recently that most of the few remaining actual cornish folk still think it is some sort of black magic .
