The Superfan of the Year Award is on a whole different level. Rolled up trouser legs & live sacrifices to owner-like deities

Ha ha, it was regarded as a normals award. Contrary to Ben's opinion though I do see a hierarchy of support and respect length of service and in particular notable support when we were ****.

If supporters choose not to bang on about their “length of service” & “support when we were ****” how do you make a balanced hierarchy of support?

    How to be a 'Superfan'.

1, Go to every single game, home and away and tell everyone you can about it.

1A, make sure you've told everyone how long you've been going. That is very lmportant.

2, Should the owners of the club you've supported for 50 or more years decide to hate you, just take it on the chin and carry on paying your hard earned to 'Support The Lads'. Even if 'the lads' have just gained promotion without anyone at all attending the actual games, get behind the lads.

3,Should the owners of your beloved club tell you to die, then ignore them. Please don't die.

4, If you see them pesky kids on social media telling you are not a fan. Well just tell them to **** off, they're just gimps.

5, I've just discovered that Manchego (spelling?) cheese on toast with a bit of garlic is beautiful.

6, Miwall will be another three points for us.

I put the supporters I know, or know of, who were there when we were **** and who don't necessarily bang on about it at the top of the hierarchy, it's quite easy to respect loyal support Ben.

It's more disrespectful not to. If the club did that, there'd be a lot said on here about it.

I do, but many who are currently choosing not to go are loyal supporters also & for one loyal supporter with over 50 years of service to be told by a jumped up self important Arkwright that “you’re either a supporter or you're not” is nothing short of ****fuckery that, on top of all his other snide comments about support, deserves to be called out.

I thought Tom was superb in the second half on Wednesday, very commanding in the air and on the floor. Wouldn’t fancy him up against a nippy forward with a fat arse and low centre of gravity though. Such as Millwall’s Bradshaw.

I get this. Let me be even clearer, I know by sight almost everyone of my generation who supported City at our lowest points in the early 80's and mid 90's. Its not that difficult as we were down to 3K at BP and just 2 coaches going away. I put these loyals at the top of my personal hierarchy regardless of whether they still go home & away, support less than they used to or still boycott home games, my respect for all of them remains of the utmost regard. I know Karl Berg, would I know you Sir Ben? Obviously new younger supporters should also be respected and encouraged, I just don't recognise all of them.
