Honestly, thought about it. If I had to pick between Xmas and Thanksgiving, I'd keep Thanksgiving and dump Xmas. Essentially the same meal, essentially the same ideal... Day off work with family eating too much and drinking too much. The main difference is you're not expected to buy people a bunch of presents that they're going to stick in the back of a cupboard for a few years and not use. Also, weather's nicer, trees leaves have only just passed peak orange and red (here at least). Can go outside without freezing nuts off. I'd rather have Thanksgiving to Xmas.
Yeah, veggie lasagne works fine with plenty of veg and/or quorn/soya substitute. Or tofu.......whatever you want really
Plenty of meat, no white sauce, and probably a layer of pasta I couldve done without. Will know for the next one
Do like a lasagna. Get some decent lasagna sheets that are in a blue box from Tesco. Get like 30 sheets or something. Don’t need to pre cook or anything, as long as enough white or tomato sauce around them it cooks them perfectly in 20 mins.
Glad we sorted out what virgin lasagna was - the chef not the dish Favourite comfort foods? Mine is probably toast (with a nice cup of tea).
