Krul- 9- Kept us in the game. Magnificent.
    Simmo- 7- Good game.
    Colo- 8- Composed, good distribution.
    Saylor- 7- Solid.
    Raylor- 7- Did well
Obertan- 5- Really didn't contribute anything. Poor crossing, one good run.
    Cabaye- 8- What a goal!
Tiote- 7- Not vintage Cheick but still solid.
Jonas- 7.5- Poor first half, but looked our most purposeful player in the second.
Best- 6- Did ok, but lacked the movement to really trouble their defense.
Ba- 6.5- Worked hard, held the ball up ok, but didn't really penetrate.

    SUBS
Ben Arfa- 6.5- Looked classy on the ball, but still lacks that match sharpness. I look forward to his return to full fitness!
Shola- 6.5- held the ball up really well, did his job.
Marveaux- 7- His touch of class set up the goal and gave us what was required

Agree, except for Jonas who I think was a solid 7 only. <ok>

Personally think the HBA rating is a little high. From where I was sitting, when he was on the ball he gave it away or lost possession the majority of the time.

In total agreement with your ratings with the exception of Shola who I'd give a 6 to because he was sloppy with the ball a few times, gave it away and let it run out of play once too.

He also had some glorious runs, shots and passes too though which counteract it I'd say. 6.5 is about right.

Yeah, I wanted him subbed off after the first half, but I think he really improved in the second, he really had the beating of Boyce and he won us a few freekicks, so I gave him an extra half mark :p

I think Colocinni really stood out from our defenders, because when he cleared the ball from defense, he always found the player. I think you might be being a little harsh on Ober as well <laugh> he was average, but not THAT dreadful!

Krul- 9- Helped prevent a loss, fine saves.
Simmo- 6-Not at his best by any means.

Obertan- 0- Find a new club.
Cabaye- 7.5- Won it for us with sublime finish.

Best- 6- Tried to get in the game but had no luck in the air.
Ba- 6- Not his best game but we can let him off after his recent good form.

    SUBS

Shola- 6.5- Held the ball up really well.
Marveaux- 7- Did more in 15 mins than Obertan has in 9 games.

Ben Arfa needs time, he can't pull up trees straight away after a serious injury. We have seen glimpses of his skill but needs more games.

Krul - 8.5 - Saved us a goal but after that had a pretty quite afternoon.

    Simpson - 7 - Decent game.
    Saylor - 7 - Solid as ever.
Coloccini - 8.5 - Superb reading of the game and positioning.
Raylor - 6.5 - A few slip ups but mostly solid.

Obertan - 5 - At least he tried stuff today, unfortunately though that stuff was crap.
Tiote - 7 - Pretty good, not his best but mostly good.
    Cabaye - 8 - Beauty of a goal.
Jonas - 7.5 - Bad first half, very good second half.

Best - 6 - A few good moment but that was all.
Ba - 6.5 - Had a couple of chances but gave the ball away a few times as well.

    SUBS
Ben Arfa - 6.5 - Still getting back up to speed and learning the league but still showed glimpses of his talent.
Ameobi - 6 - Did not really do anything bad or good.
Marveaux - 7 - Gave us edge and class, needs to start.

Personally thought Simpson was ****. Got caught too many times, offers nothing going forward and resorted to trying to trip players up when they got away from him.

Krul 7 - Wish he would release the ball a bit quicker
    Simpson 5
    Colo 7
    Taylor 7
    Raylor 7
Obertan 3 - He needs to **** off before I go wild!
    Cabaye 8
    Tiote 8
    Gutierrez 7
    Ba 6
    Best 5
    Shola 6
    Ben Arfa 6
    Marveaux 5

Fans: Alan Pardew's Black n White army? Give me a break!

I will have to wait until I see on Football First as Simpson never really got mentioned on the radio. I was just going along with what others were saying tbh haha. Santon is definetly the long term option
