he's a new lad isn't he out of cheslea again? have not seen much of him playing, i think you've used him most as a sub as he's a young lad but given adams won't last 90 i assume thats what what you do?
Broja did start a few then picked up an ankle knock. He was excellent against Leeds and Burnley. He's tall, quick, agile and can finish. I hope he starts on Saturday.
well i hope someone explains to him to keep as close to vvd as possible and not go near matip. VVD will keep him warm in his pocket. Toney absolutely destroyed matip imo for brentford so thats clearly the key to unlocking us. RCB/RB channel when theres nobody home and no midfielder covering.
Broja is excellent at running in behind as well as a good target man from cross field balls so he could be ideal to exploit that weakness.
Well our first job is to get the ball to salah and let the magic happen. I believe the view from the away end as he beats two mean and curls one in is a sight to behold!
Love how MITO's posts suddenly become readable when he's talking to someone from a different board. If we play properly we should have too much for Soton. But they're more than capable of hurting us if we don't. Hope it's not a repeat of Brentford/Brighton/West Ham.
Oh absolutely, everyone in the ff game should put triple captain on salah this week. Hes clearly going to rip southampton apart here
Almost right, except Diallo really isn't a winger, and isn't a like-for-like with Walcott and Redmond at all. He's more like-for-like with Ward-Prowse, except without the free kicks, but with a bit more adventure. Unfortunately Stuart Armstrong has a calf injury, and we look a lot worse without him. You'll probably see Redmond and Elyounoussi on the wings. Redmond is decent when in the mood, but that's a toss of a coin. Elyounoussi flatters to deceive a bit, and took sprinting lessons from Vestegaard when he was here, it seems. A dustbin would be a like-for-like with Walcott.
Redmond is a guy who cant hit the side of a barn but has played well right up to shooting against us in the past.
He creates more chances than anyone else in our team (which perhaps isn't saying much, as it's the final third where we really struggle). Fans are weird about him, because he's frustrating, but when he's on song he's dangerous. You'll have a chance to take a close look at your VVD replacement in Salisu, so there is that.
