You started the dance Only saying the truth mate.. He's a crap manager but he did aswel as rafa for 2 years.. ****ed up in the end
Rondon wasn't ours, he was a loan so he got **** all for that and Perez was £20m with add on's taking it towards the £30m. Can't really argue about transfers as I think Nickson bought for Bruce and quite frankly I think Rafa was ****e in the transfer market - albeit with a **** budget.
Bruce did aswel but rafa is more sly.. Rafa jumped ship and Bruce kept going until he hit the iceberg.
Rafa was loved because he went on a PR offensive against Ashley and nothing more in hindsight. It sure as **** wasn't for his winning and attractive football, his ability in the transfer market or his ability to develop youth players. This love of Rafa baffles me to a degree. Yes he was PR savvy and Yes he made out he GOT the club and the fans as part of his PR campaign, but let's be honest he's more politician than footballing genius in this day and age. For Christs sake we won the championship by an injury time goal we had nowt to do with, in a league that we should have won at a ****ing canter. The first sign of being able to hit the exit door and he was gone. Not to Man Utd, his beloved Liverpool, or a Valencia. He ****ed off to China. He ****ed off so I hope to **** in 2 months time when he becomes unemployed we don't do anything stupid like binning Eddie Howe to allow him back in. His behaviour with us and refusing to sign an improved contract and his choice to manage Liverpool's derby rivals show's the man has as much loyalty as Adam Johnson did to his fiance the moment he got the slightest chance to turn his fingers into Captain Birdseye's.
He has the potential to be but he isn’t because he doesn’t apply the potential. Doing something good once or twice a match doesn’t make a player a good footballer. That’s where Shelvey falls short.
It is. Net spend is the relevant figure otherwise it’s a nonsense. Rondon was on loan. He was never ours. Perez was a loss.
I said I'd give them all a clean slate to de-bruce and de-raffa. Lets see what happens when we try to start passing through the pitch than bang it long to the left wing. Being more involved in the general play may keep his concentration levels and energy levels up a bit more.
Irrelevant. Even if he is the best player in the squad in April / May, doesn't means he's the best player now. There is some talent there which has taken a long old time to show itself so he is improving, he's just not performed at a consistently good level yet to be in the frame for "best"
It means he always was. Its all been about playing to suit cloggers. Being the best is about ability he's got more ability is more areas that the rest. That's my opinion it's not reactive and I won't change it. Let's see how the next couple of seasons go.
